What is Yoga Nidra?
Nidra means sleep and is a guided meditation meant to bring you into a state of lucid dreaming. You may fall asleep or find yourself in a dreamy state, or floating somewhere between the two. In a relaxing comfortable, reclined position, there's no wrong way to practice Yoga Nidra. Give yourself permission to rest as you replenish your energy and manage your stress.

Saturday 11-12:30 Why taking care of your skin is one of the best ways to prepare for winter. Pick 2 gifts to support your self care practices at home.
12:30-1:30- Lunch - a light meal of vegetarian Kitchari and chutney will be served.
1:30- 3- Asana, Pranayama and Meditation to soothe Vata Dosha. In this slow-moving and contemplative practice we will cultivate stillness and silence to calm mind, body and spirit.
Workshop will include access to an online Introduction to Ayurveda course, one spice blend, an Ayurvedic Massage Oil and a light vegetarian lunch on Saturday!

Want to bring more meaning into your teaching? In these workshops we will explore the art of theming a yoga class. Many of us become yoga teachers because we ourselves have had a profound experience in our own practice that we wish to share with others. Learning the art of theming is one way to share that experience and connect with the heart of our students. Theming creates a bridge from practice back to life, so that our students can take what they learn in class in apply these lessons in concrete and practical ways in their day to day lives. These classes will include several different exercises and time for practice.
These hours will count as continuing education for Yoga Teachers through Yoga Alliance.
