Prepare to keep your cool this summer with sweet, soft and fluid yoga and dance.
In Ayurveda the passage of the seasons marks a sacred cycle that deeply affects our bodies, hearts and state of mind. Summer time is considered Pitta time. It's qualities are hot, sharp and fast. This can leave us feeling edgy, irritable and exhausted. Through the principles of Ayurveda we can restore balance to aggravated Pitta through an attitude of surrender. We will learn ways to practice yoga and dance that are softer, less ambitious and more restoring for busy Pitta.
If you are wanting to stay cool this summer come and play with us!
This class will be a combination of yoga and dance. All levels welcome. Please bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes for movement.
